Authentic, experience led wedding photography for the modern, laid back couple - On film and digital
Your wedding isn’t a photoshoot. It’s a day full of noise, nerves, bad dancing, big feelings, questionable decisions and the people you’d do anything for… that’s what I want to photograph.
I shoot weddings in a documentary style, mostly on 35mm film, chasing the moments that happen when nobody is paying attention. The stolen glances. The chaos. The quiet five minutes outside. Your mates losing it on the dance floor. Your mum trying not to cry.
Nothing overly posed. Nothing manufactured. No turning your wedding into a day of standing around for the camera.
I’ll be there to tell the story as it actually felt… honestly, instinctively and with a little bit of grit and grain. The imperfections are part of it. The weird moments are part of it. That’s the good stuff.
Years from now, I want you to look back at your photographs and not just remember what everything looked like.
I want you to remember exactly how it felt.
Real people. Real moments. No bullshit.
For me, the rich, warm colours, distinctive grain, and charming imperfections of film photography evoke a deep, timeless feeling that digital photography simply cannot replicate.
Beyond just the aesthetic appeal, the entire process of shooting on film encourages me to be more present, intentional, and mindful in each passing moment, truly immersing myself in the unique experience of your day. There are no screens or instant previews to distract me; it’s just me, my subject, and the camera, fully focused on capturing genuine emotion, raw connection, and the subtle beauty of each scene.
What this means for you is a carefully crafted collection of photographs with a uniquely artistic character and enduring quality that stands the test of time.
I offer various options for incorporating film photography into your wedding package, whether you want a set of film photos alongside your digital gallery, or prefer to have your entire day documented on film.
